Matthew 16: 18 reminds us, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
There is a great move by the secular sector of our society and the secular media to bring news that the Church is declining and many people are turning away. So, we must ask ourselves, “From which source are they getting the information?”
The Falling Away
While the Bible may speak of the great falling away from the truth in the end times, God is separating the wheat from the tares. 2 Thessalonians 2: 3 refers to the falling away as there will be a massive rebellion against God and His authority by unbelieving believers. These “believers” will hide in the Church but will serve the Anti-Christ in the end times. 2 Thessalonians 2 tells us that Satan will deceive many with his power, signs and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception. Many refuse to accept the love and truth of God; and because they do so, God Himself will send strong delusions that they will believe the lie. So, anyone who fails to believe the truth – including the four (4) gospels, will instead believe a lie. They will believe false prophets, false christs, false scientists, lying politicians rather than the truth of God.
The Holy Spirit Restraining Power
Only the Holy Spirit’s restraining power will keep us from being deceived in the end time by the demonic agenda. We must also take comfort that many who followed Christ, were not for Christ. People followed for various reasons and the same is true today. God, however, has many ways to reveal the hearts of the people and to show which of those following are loyal.
The COVID-19 Pandemic was the perfect platform to test who was loyal to God. Many hearts were revealed. Both Atheists and Secularists need to understand that God’s Church never comes second in anything. GOD’S CHURCH CANNOT DIE.
The Church Is An Organism Not Just An Organization
There is a difference between an organism and an organization. An organization as we understand it, has buildings, chairs and other infrastructure – all of which are lifeless. However, an organism has life – it is a living thing, birthed out of life which also produces life and it is life that powers the organism – the Holy Spirit of God – Who is Life. The Church is a mediator between heaven and earth and the Church belongs to Jesus Christ. So, when viruses and plagues come, don’t try to and think you are shutting the Church down, while you leave open organizations which are lifeless – they don’t support life nor are they supported by Life.
So, in the midst of a pandemic, famine, pestilence, earthquake and even the rising of the sea, and the closing down of the secular organizations, the Church is still standing! Secular organizations – banks and insurance companies – they are simply that – organizations. They are lifeless. However, the Church is an organism, and as such it is, and perpetuates life. Thus, in due season, many form the lifeless will be coming to seek a job from life, and will be coming to life.
The Presence, Power and Glory of God that will manifest in the end time according to Joel 2, will be poured out in the end times regardless of what laws have been put in place to stop God’s Church will be useless. The very lawmakers will bow! We are about to see masses coming to the Lord, and the very ones Satan will be using to attack the Church are the ones who will turn and attack the kingdom of darkness.
Do You Know The Remnant?
The media needs to learn about the 11th hour Christians in Matthew 20. They also need to do their research on who the remnant is, and this is why it is key to know which side they are on; they also need to know that Jesus is the Way, the Door, the Truth, the Deliverer, He is Savior, He declared the end from the beginning – He is Alpha and Omega, the First and Last, the Beginning and the End. He rules in the affairs of men. (Jeremiah 23: 3, Jeremiah 31: Romans 9: 27)
The coming Remnant Church with Jesus at Center and as the Center of the Church. They will live holy. They will be watching and waiting for Jesus to return. (Luke 12: 37 – 39). They will be warning the world of sin (1 Corinthians 6: 9 – 10). They will be bold – one heart, one mind. They will be fully loaded with the Holy Spirit. Metaverse and AI will be nothing by comparison. They will be everywhere. So, how can the secular win?
