Matthew 7: 24 – 29, “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.  “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”  And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

A Plan

According to the dictionary, a plan is an orderly step by step conception or proposal for accomplishing an objective or a proposed or intended course of action.  It is also a diagram or drawing made to scale showing a structure or arrangement of something or program or policy stipulating a service or benefit.

An intention or decision about what one is going to do.  decide on and arrange in advance.

Everywhere you go there is a lot of building going on.  Some say they are building to achieve economic growth and development; but who is benefitting from all the building that is going on?  What are the plans for the meta-verse, multi-verse, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Real Estate and all these so-called advancements in technology?

The Anti-Christ is a great builder, as we see in Genesis 11.  Building Babylon means building a system without God.  Are we building a system to put people in bondage – filled with death, oppression, manipulation and control?  What is the source of inspiration most plans?  The answer to that question will be key.  Many nations no longer build on the Solid Rock.  The question is, can whatever we are building survive the testing by the wind?

The foundation of each “building”/system will be tested by the wind, the rain, the flood and the sun.  Can it survive the fire?  All plans and building must pass God’s approval.  Wise builders build on the rock, and fools build on sand.

The Rock vs. The Sand

The Rock represents the things – the principles of God. It also symbolizes stability.  The rock also symbolizes longevity, covenant, source of strength, fortress, delivery, strength, and power.  (2 Samuel 22: 2, Psalm 71:3 and Psalm 18: 1; Psalm 71: 3)

The sand symbolizes the things of the world. It represents instability and has to do with the flesh, sin, self-centeredness, greed, and the lust for power.  The sand represents things that are temporary, it looks good on the outside to man’s eyes, but those things fall quickly.  If someone builds on sand, God will test it, and so will the rains.  The rain will come – it symbolizes the blessings.  So, when someone builds on sand and the blessings come then it will all crumble.  Psalm 62: 7 – 8 says, “In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.  Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

Anything we build must make it clear that God is our Savior.  We must look to Him for strength, refuge and protection in time of trouble.  It is surprising that many are building to build God out of society.  Many want to move the Creator, Maker and Originator out of the picture.

Similarly, in the same way, man is making robots to reduce manpower.  There is no way man can build without a redeemer.  Remember, Psalm 78: 35 says, “Then they remembered that God was their rock, and the Most High God their Redeemer.”

There are some within the Body of Christ who are building without Christ the Solid Rock.  Isaiah 44: 8, lets us know that they are building Christ out of the Church.  It says, “Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.’ ”

Because nations are building without God, we are now seeing continually increasing crime, violence, sickness, diseases, and poverty.  But when we build with a plan from the Lord, He gives us revelation, insight, foresight and more. We must build by His prescribed order and get back to the foundation if we really want to see change.  We are now seeing the education and banking systems falling because they have been functioning without His prescribed order.

Finally, the wealth of every nation is in the ground.  Man is now abandoning what is in the ground for what is in the air – cloud-based everything!

We need to get grounded again and build on the Rock!
