THE RWOMI MISSION

This is an area that is closest to our heart at RWOMI! We have been feeding approximately 500 people on a weekly basis in Miami, FL alone. In addition to this we take groceries to the homes of those who have nothing at home. We issue clothes, blankets and coats to those in need – often on the streets. But beyond feeding the people, we teach them to fish. On our various missions we teach groups of people how to use their natural resources to make items for daily use, including dishwashing detergents, bath soap and shampoo, as well as bricks for building. We also teach them how to make costume jewelry. Learn More

This is an area that needs great attention.  There are many nations where women are degraded and abused and children are neglected. The Children are the future of any nation and they need also to be empowered in order to carry on and be effective in doing so.  There is a saying that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.  Women have the potential to influence change and children are the game-changers for the future. Agriculture is the single largest employer in the world, providing livelihoods for 40 per cent of today’s global population. Investing in smallholder women and men is an important way to increase food security and nutrition for the poorest, as well as food production for local and global markets. Learn more…

Water is life!   RWOMI has already putting in strategic plans and is having dialogue with other NGO’s and partners that can help us with this Crisis.  With global pollution and toxic waste, there are dangers of an even more serious water crisis.  We have seen firsthand the problems in Kenya and Colombia regarding this issue.  Many are prepared to dig wells where necessary.
