STEVE LYSTON | THE RISING OF THE GREAT WHORE
Without a doubt, we are now seeing the manifestation of the Babylonian system – a system without God – emerging globally.
The recent placing of the giant, apocalyptic-type statue at the United Nations in New York, bearing the resemblance of what was spoken of in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, gives us an indication of the stage we are at globally, and of the times that are approaching. The world is poised for the rising of the Great Whore.
About The Whore
A whore is a derogatory term for a prostitute. It means to “Debase oneself by doing something for unworthy motives, typically to make money.” It indicates a lack of principles, morals and decency in the individual in an effort to get whatever they want – usually money and power.
Prophetically, the Whore symbolizes a false religion, religious and political systems, and apostasy. Many will no longer be true to their vows with God. They will be unfaithful and sell themselves to the Anti-Christ for money and power. So, they will be committing spiritual and physical fornications and adultery. Nations will sell out. In fact, it has already begun. Furthermore, many will walk away from the Christian faith and they will do sexual immorality, engage in wanton nudity, abortion and other such activities. The anti-Christ will begin to recruit women and place them in powerful seats of authority.
Additionally, we must recognize that the Great Whore includes the one world religion – The Inter-faith; and the Gender Agenda. They will rise through the Gender Agenda. The great whore will be possessed with the spirits of Jezebel and Delilah and will seduce weak nation leaders – the Ahabs, who will promote them that they carry out the mandate of the anti-Christ. Passing anti-Christ laws that come against the Church and God’s Word will be their number one priority. Their main goal is to destroy the churches globally and they will want to establish Baal worship.
The Harlot of Revelation 17
The harlot will also allow billions to die under their rule. Very shortly, we will be seeing a global changing of the guards, while the woman in the Bible symbolizes the Church. (2 Corinthians 11: 1 – 2).
The enemy knows that “women” in the scriptures also represents the church, so he is establishing a woman-led system to come against the bride.
You will begin to see many legislative systems springing up throughout the globe to reform nations under the disguise for equality for women. It is a deception as the anti-Christ does not care about women and sees them his pawns. They will tear down any system that would honor man or the father as the head. (Ephesians 5: 21 – 23)
The whore will make alliance with nations in order to destroy the true church while being backed by the Apostate Church.
In Revelation 17, there are many signs and symbols for which we as the people need interpretation and clarification in order to better prepare to identify end-time activities. For example, we see the woman in purple and scarlet. Purple signifies organized religion, royalty, rule, majesty, nobility, as well as persecution and opposition. Scarlet symbolizes passion, sin, zeal, hatred and it also says that several empires will rise which will come against God’s people. We need to watch the G7 in the end time. We also see ten (10) horns, which symbolize ten (10) nation leaders which could symbolize the EU or a revived Roman Empire.
Heads of Nations
The woman will have power over many nations. Revelation 17: 5 says, “And on her forehead a name was written: Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Of The Abominations Of The Earth.”
Additionally, we must understand that the Beast will empower the Anti-Christ, because the Beast is a fallen angel as outlined in Revelation 17: 8 – 9, “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.”
Will we see a woman at the head of the seven nations? Or will the Apostate Church sit over the seven (7) nations? Time will tell.
It is critical for Christians to read the word as the anti-Christ will rise with Global solutions including economic growth, peace and security, and also solutions for sicknesses and diseases (including the vaccine). These are all false but will be accepted as truths.
It is noteworthy, that the scriptures speak of 10 kings which have no kingdom. This is symbolic as this can mean 10 leaders who are not political leaders, but possibly billionaires with great influence; who will steer the globe in a particular direction.
Meanwhile, political kings, presidents and leaders will pledge allegiance to the Anti-Christ so he can reign for a short while. Many will be deceived, peoples, multitudes, towns, nations. They will establish a “Beast Worship”. We will also see great population control take place.
Further to this, there will also be a false revival, and it will not be a move of the Spirit.
